newsletter june 2018

Hello! Welcome to June and all things summery!

We had wonderful time cycling round Battersea Park, we timed it so well we got to see the Red Arrows fly over for the Trooping of the Colour Parade.

On Saturday 14th July I am planning a trip to Portsmouth historic Dockyard. We will get there for 10am and stay there for the day, possibly aiming to leave around 4pm. Merton Vision will pay for one visually or hearing impaired child and an adult any extra tickets will cost £31. We are taking the minibus and will meet here at the Guardian Centre at 8am. Please let me know the exact number and if you are bringing a wheelchair if you wish to book seats for the minibus. If you wish to drive, there is a car park very close, the postcode for Sat Navs is PO1 3GW (Admiralty Road) more details on their website. There are a number of restaurants and cafes and places to eat a picnic. Some of the places are not accessible by wheelchair for more details go to www.historicdockyard.co.uk

As I have to pay for tickets in advance for this, there will be a charge if you book and later cannot come. I need to know if you want to come by 28th June. I cannot book any tickets after that date!

Please let me know you are coming on 020 8540 5446 or 07590650124 or email me at lois.paddington@mertonvision.org.uk Contact me quickly to avoid missing out!
