Do you want to use your IT skills to help blind and partially sighted people access technology?
MertonVision are looking for enthusiastic tech-savvy volunteers to help our clients with a range of tasks including:
- Accessing the Internet
- Online shopping
- Video calling
- Troubleshooting
If you are able to help with any of these tasks, please do get in touch!
We are also looking for volunteers with sight loss to help others learn how to use accessible technology.
The role involves providing support over the phone or in person (following social distancing guidelines).
You will need to be patient and have good verbal communication skills. Experience of using accessible technology is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided!
