MertonVision are looking for a new Support Worker:

Job Description - Support Worker (PA)
Reporting to: Volunteer Services Manager
Weekly Hours: 21
Hourly rate: £13 (First 6 months)
Holiday: 20 days pro rata excluding official bank holidays and Christmas period.
Benefits: 3% Pension, free parking and Personal Development
Contract Type: 3 years with extension

Job Purpose:
 Support the Volunteer Services Manager in performing his duties in the office environment
 Assist and carry out practical tasks
 Accompany Volunteer Services Manager to meetings, volunteers’ fairs and attend other similar official appointments

Duties: Role to include but not limited to:
• Reading and prioritising mail
• Proof reading
• Preparation of documents using Microsoft windows suite
• Accompanying to offsite meetings
• General administration tasks, including filing and diary management
• Handling of documents including confidential material
• Minute taking
• To undertake such other duties as may be reasonable expected by the organisation

 Exceptional understanding of wide range of IT applications, including Microsoft Office
 Excellent Verbal and written skills
 Excellent administrative skills

 Ability to problem solve

 Professional
 Willing to learn

Desirable:
 Some understanding of the volunteering sector
 Flexible
 Basic understanding of visual impairment
 Driver with own vehicle
