I have been visually impaired for 35 years. I first discovered MertonVision when I applied for a job as a Rehabilitation Worker in 2006. I had planned to stay here for a minimum of 5 years; I was very grateful to them for giving a visually impaired person this chance. I then thought I would work my way back home to Sunny Stevenage, via Rehab worker roles in different local authorities. 15 years later I am still here. The reason is because I love working at MV. The family atmosphere created with both staff and members is difficult to replace or leave. Outside of work I enjoy football and most sports and spending time with my large family which includes 9 grandchildren, 8 of whom are girls!
