Hello everyone! Imran here again!
The group had its first meetup get-together in May and went well, despite being a
very small group with a low turnout from the public advertising. Let’s make it a bigger
group this time!
A new date has been arranged and scheduled for the first meetup get-together for
Saturday, 19th of June 2021.
PLEASE NOTE: Please be aware that future lockdowns and more restrictions may
affect the running of the group and may result in cancellations and suspensions of
the meetup get-togethers at short notice. The meetup get-together on 19th June is
planned to go ahead and you will be notified nearer the time if there are
cancellations to any of our events.

This group is for members aged between 18-45 years old with disabilities only.

The group will be running once every month until further notice. Please view the
below links for regular updates on dates and times for the group meetup gettogethers.
We will only be allowing and accepting 17 members maximum to attend only for
each of our monthly meetup get-togethers until further notice. This may increase
depending on the success of the group and subject to approval of the venue owner.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Due to events and the current situation regarding Covid-19, we ask you to please
bring a face mask with you to our meetup events. You will not be compelled and
obliged to wear the face mask for the entirety of the event but you may be required
to wear the face mask at the counter when ordering your food and drink at the
request and requirement of the venue.
First aid kits are provided and are available on the premises should any group
member have any small, minor incidences and injuries. Any major, severe accidents
or get into any emergency situations must be handled and dealt with by emergency
and ambulance services.
There is a first aid qualified member of staff on-site.
There is also a defibrillator attached to the wall outside.
Members are now allowed to eat and drink from the disposable plastic takeaway
cups and plates when dining on the premises. Please request for your food and drink
to be served in the disposable takeaway utensils when placing your order at the
counter.

If you use WhatsApp, we have also set up a WhatsApp group for the group as well.The system for new members to join the WhatsApp group has now changed. The
group’s joining link will no longer be used, and the group link has now been disabled.
New potential interested members are now required to contact me directly on the
mobile number to express your interest and have an informal chat before being
added into the WhatsApp group if you really want to start chatting, socialising and
meeting everyone and make new friends right now!
