We are recruiting for a Working Age Outreach Worker P/T

Part time 24 hours per week Please note that this is FTC: 18 months remainder of a 3 year contract.
We are a successful, highly regarded, sight-loss charity offering much needed support to visually impaired children and adults living in Merton.
We help more than 440 vision impaired young people with varying degrees of sight loss every year. MertonVision is working to be London’s leading sight-loss charity.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Person to develop social and peer support activities and to promote the take up of statutory and voluntary services for working age people with impaired vision in Merton. The post will involve working with community and minority ethnic groups including some older people. You must have excellent communication and people skills.
You will work as part of an Outreach team.
