Vision Foundation Charity Shop visit

For the Working Age Forum this month we visited the Vision Foundation charity shop in Kingston.
The shop has been adapted for visually impaired visitors and we had a tour from the staff who pointed out the adaptations, which include a till with extra large buttons.
The Foundation welcome Visually impaired volunteers in all their stores and, after sharing a pizza together we had a talk from a blind lady who used to volunteer in the shop and has now gone on to paid employment at head office.
